What is acupressure?

Acupressure is a healing art that uses the fingers to place pressure on key points on the surface of the skin to help stimulate the body’s natural healing mechanisms.

How does acupressure work?

By pressing on the key points on the surface of the skin, muscle tension is relieved, which promotes circulation of the blood to aid in the healing process. Acupressure is an effective form of stimulation used to help relax the muscles and promote healing by releasing endorphins into the body.

What can it help with?

Practicing acupressure regularly can help with relieving stress, boosting the immune system, preventing illness, easing migraine pain and more.

Where can I learn more?
