Advisor: Professor Ciarlo • Dylan Moučka is a first-year MA student from Tulsa Oklahoma. His research focuses on nineteenth century eastern European cultural history, with a particular focus on the development of national identity in Poland. He is interested in analyzing ideas of the nation as results of internal understandings of modern personhood predicated upon by lived experience. Dylan graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Tulsa in 2023 with a BA in History and a Certificate in Classical Studies. Aside from his studies, he enjoys reading (no surprise), playing chess, and is looking forward to exploring Boulder!
