Advisor: Professor Sutter • Hannah is a first-year PhD student focused on 20th century U.S. environmental history, with a specific interest in the communal revival and ecofeminist movement. She is interested in how conceptions of the self in relation to nature impact radical environmental thought. Hannah graduated with honors in 2022 from The George Washington University with majors in American Studies and Women’s Studies, and minors in History and Music. She is a Massachusetts native, a (now former) sailor, and a book collector.
