Advisor: Professor Sutter • Trevor Egerton is a first-year PhD student focusing on 20th century American environmental history, with a particular interest in the intersections of public lands and race in the American South. Additionally, he is interested in investigating the transnational role of invasive species, namely invasive waterborne vegetation. Trevor is originally from Austin, Texas and graduated in 2020 with a B.A. in History and minor in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from Rice University in Houston. If he is not doing reading or writing for class, you can find him hiking or backpacking in the mountains of Colorado.
