Gowns, hoods, and tassels, oh my! In this session, we will demystify academic traditions.The history and symbolic significance of academic dress and ceremonies will be discussed.Topics will include the differences between academic gowns, colors, hoods and other elements of dress. Traditional academic ceremonies and their significance will also be discussed.
