ICS Fellow and Linguistics Professor Emerita Lise Menn selected as Fellow of the AAAS

The American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) 2014 Elected Fellows include four members of the CU Boulder community, including Professor Emerita Lise Menn.  

Election as a Fellow of AAAS is an honor bestowed upon members by their peers.  Fellows are recognized for their efforts on behalf of the advancement of science or its applications, if they are scientifically or socially distinguished, and have been a continuous member for the four year period leading up to the year of nomination.  The AAAS publishes three widely respected peer-reviewed journals, including Science. In addition, AAAS fulfills its mission to "advance science and serve society" through initiatives in science policy; diplomacy; education and career support; public engagement with science; and more.
