Research Interests:

Moriah's current research focus is exploring the crossroads of adolescent executive function and psychopathology. Her hope is to one day contribute meaningful research that can help adolescents who are struggling with emotional regulation and internalizing psychopathology symptoms. In particular, Moriah is passionate about branching into longitudinal research that assesses how trauma affects adolescent brain development. She wonders if cognitive control can play an important role in mitigating symptom severity for adolescents that develop internalizing psychopathology symptoms and cognitive disengagement syndrome (CDS).
