Alexandra Stern

Alexandra Stern is an assistant professor of nineteenth-century American history at the City College of New York (CUNY), specializing in the Civil War and Reconstruction eras. Prior to this role, Stern held a two-year ACLS postdoctoral fellowship at CUNY. She earned a Ph.D. in 2020 from Stanford University, where they studied under Dr. Richard White.
