Alyssa Kreikemeier Ph.D.


Alyssa Kreikemeier’s scholarship and teaching address environmental and public history in relationship with the peoples and places of the Western United States. Her current project is an atmospheric history of the American West. Kreikemeier has also written an administrative history of Bandelier National Monument and compiled an oral history archive. Kreikemeier hails from Montana and lives in the Palouse where she teaches at the University of Idaho.
