Dissertation title: “Red or Green?” New Mexican Food Politics from Statehood to Climate Crisis 

Divana Olivas writes about New Mexico history in the 20th and 21st centuries, Chivanx social movements, and food politics from a critical Chicana feminisms lens. She is a Ph.D. candidate in American Studies and Ethnicity, with a graduate certificate in Public Policy Advocacy from the University of Southern California. She was born in Albuquerque and was raised by Mexican-immigrant parents in El Cerro Mission/Los Lunas.
