John graduated from the University of Miami in 1989 and has spent his entire career in Boulder, founding and managing the development, launch and exponential growth of countless food and beverage consumer product brands and hundreds of products within those brands. He is continually motivated by thoughtful innovation. He works at the highest levels, having been especially successful in disrupting the status quo in the food and beverage industries. He particularly excels in growing teams and bringing the right people together to create focus while maintaining the flexibility to create winning strategies. He has led or participated in the exits of six companies and has guess-lectured numerous times at the CU Boulder Leeds School of Business, as well as joining as an adjunct professor in the 2022-23 school year. He and his wife are proud parents of four children and are lucky enough to be able to snow ski excessively in the Colorado winters and enjoy the outdoors all summer long with a variety of adventures intermixed with their work.
