Alpine and rainforest soil biogeochemistry
I examine effects of global change on ecosystem ecology and biogeochemistry across spatial scales, with a focus on belowground soil-root-microbial interactions and dynamics. My current projects explore how tropical forests, temperate grasslands, and alpine ecosystems respond to drying, warming, nitrogen deposition, land use change, and invasive plant species.
