Multiple SEEC parking lots

Parking lots exist on most sides of SEEC and regulations vary across the lots, from open-metered parking to permit-only parking. ADA-accessible parking is available in most lots.

Parking regulations for all permit lots near SEEC are enforced from 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. every day. Hourly parking is enforced 24 hours every day.

for details like rates and a map of the nearby lots

Hourly parking

Hourly parking for everyone is available in parts of Lot 550, located on the southwest side of the SEEL building. Pay stations are located at the edge of this lot and accept payment by credit cards and coins. Alternatively, you can pay with the ParkMobile app after you park. The app can send you text reminders when your time is about to expire and enable you to pay more to extend your time.

Daily, weekly, and monthly parking

Parking permits for everyone for one or five days (Lot 556) can be purchased through the CU Boulder Online Parking Portal or by phone at 303 735-PARK (7275). Please have your license plate number available. Pay with a credit card.

Students, staff, and faculty can log in to the Portal with their IdentiKey to get a lower price on one to six days of daily permits and other benefits. Faculty and staff can also buy monthly parking by phone at 303 735-PARK (7275).  INSTAARS can also potentially purchase a half day or one day pass from the front office using a speedtype.

More details can be found on the CU Boulder Parking & Transportation website.

Long term parking

Long-term parking permits are only available to employees through payroll deduction. All Faculty and Staff on monthly payroll can purchase their parking permits online via the Parking and Transportation webpage. To purchase a permit visit the P&T website, log into your online portal using their IdentiKey, and choose from the permit/lot options available. Step-by-step instructions can be found on the website. For long-term parking, you should select the Employee: Standard Parking option. Eligible frontline employees will choose the Employee: Frontline Discounted Parking option. Other permit options include online off-campus permits, off-peak permits, daily discounted permits, and motorcycle permits.

CU Boulder features "virtual" parking access, with no need for printed hang tags. The vehicle's license plate information is registered and associated with the parking access, so your license plate is used to identify your vehicle and is valid to park in only the specific lot or zone you purchase.

Payment options include both pretax and post-tax payroll deductions which occur at the end of the month for which you had a permit. Permits with a start date on or after the 15th of the month will have your first month's price prorated to $30.00. Ongoing deductions will continue until you submit a request for cancellation of their permit. Requests for cancellation must be effective before the end of the month to avoid being billed for the next month. Payment is non-refundable.
