The Program in Jewish Studies is excited to announce that Eyal Rivlin, Instructor of Hebrew and Jewish Studies, has been promoted to Senior Instructor, effective August 2019.
Eyal Rivlin has served as a Hebrew Instructor for the Program in Jewish Studies for seven years. Throughout his time with Jewish Studies, he has revolutionized Hebrew studies at CU with an innovative pedagogy that teaches language acquisition through music. He also teaches the Internship in Jewish Studies course, which helps students gain experience and build connections through interning with local organizations.
Rivlin is also dedicated to serving students outside the classroom. He organizes the highly popular annual Hebrew Schmooze-A-Palooza concert, which features musical performances by CU's Hebrew language students. Recently, Rivlin partnered with former student Lior Gross to create the Nonbinary Hebrew Project. The Project aims to develop a third-gender grammar system for non-binary Hebrew speaker and has received international recognition.
The Program in Jewish Studies is grateful to Eyal Rivlin for his service and welcomes his promotion to Senior Instructor.
