Professor Rebecca Wartell will give a talk on Wednesday, January 17 at Congregation Bonai Shalom on Sephardic Jewish history and culture. Professor Wartell will discuss the recent novel Kantika by Elizabeth Graver. The book tells the saga of one family’s migration path across the Mediterranean from Istanbul to Barcelona and then across the Atlantic to Havana and New York.
