I received my undergraduate degree from CU Boulder in 2011 and taught high school science for several years before returning for a Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences- Assisted Reproductive Technologies from Colorado State University in 2017. Following my internship studying antioxidants in pre-implantation embryo culture, I became a research embryologist at the Colorado Center for Reproductive Medicine. I simultaneously completed my Ph. D. in Biomedical Sciences from Colorado State University studying early placental trophoblast development at the time of implantation in human embryos and stem cell-derived embryo-like blastoids in spring 2023. As a postdoctoral fellow in the Brumbaugh lab, I am excited to expand my molecular skill set while studying embryonic cell fate transitions.
