I'm a Massachusetts transplant that desperately wanted to be around mountains after living most of my life in the Northeast. I lived in Honolulu, HI before moving to Amherst, MA when I was seven. I did undergrad at Colgate University, working with Dr. Ana Jimenez on thermal physiology in songbirds. After college, I was a research assistant in the Rubin Lab at Harvard University, working on a differentiation protocol for iPSC-derived brain endothelial cells. I joined the Brumbaugh lab in the spring of 2023. I love to ski, hike, play frisbee, and pet dogs!
