My role is to support ongoing research within the laboratory. That support takes many forms depending on the need. It has included cell culture, cloning, animal care/husbandry, ensuring compliance with local and national entities such as IACUC, Biosafety and Environmental Health and Safety. My personal mantra as a laboratory manager is to ensure everyone else’s job is easier within the laboratory through organization and efficiency in the day-to-day operations.
