Tyler Amos
- Graduate Student
- May 2024 - Present
- MOLECULAR CELLULAR AND DEVELOPMENTAL BIOLOGY DEPARTMENT
Tyler received his Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Johns Hopkins University in 2022 where he performed research on RNA-stress granules under Dr. Tatjana Trcek. Before coming to Boulder, Tyler spent a year studying the developing nervous system in C. elegans while optimizing single-cell RNA sequencing protocols in the lab of Dr. David Miller at Vanderbilt University. Tyler joined the Spencer lab in the Summer of 2024, and now studies mechanisms of cell cycle withdrawal in response to CDK4/6 inhibition.
