Yukai Tomsovic joined CU Boulder in Fall 2023 as a Ph.D. student in the Materials Science & Engineering program. She received her B.S. in Materials Science from the University of California, Berkeley in 2021, after which she investigated electrolyte additives for iron-air batteries at Form Energy, a grid-scale energy storage startup. Yukai is currently studying mechanisms for the rejection of PFAS with nanofiltration membranes. In her free time, she enjoys baking, art with different media, climbing, and running.
