Nick Minor and Paul Dougherty (Carling Lab graduate students from the University of Wyoming) recently led a paper in Evolution exploring how we might best use eBird and other citizen science data to estimate avian hybridization in the wild. Check out the paper to read about a new approach that uses eBird data to determine where we should be looking for hybridization on the landscape.
