Behnam graduated from the University of Tehran with both a B.S. and an M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering. He joined the group in Jan 2023. His research focuses on the mechanics of active networks in biology, with applications to cell mechanics and bio-inspired molecular design of smart hydrogels.
