The University of Colorado Law School's Mini Law School will enter its twelfth season this fall, with sessions featuring the school’s new faculty members from across the country.
Modeled after the popular Mini Med School at the CU Anschutz Medical Campus, Colorado Law’s Mini Law School is designed to educate non-lawyers and help them better understand some of today’s most critical legal issues.
This popular eight-week program provides an excellent lifelong learning opportunity for the Boulder community – and for participants across the country. The series kicks off on Sept. 6, with Associate Professor Blake Reid presenting on big tech and section 230. Each week, participants will hear from a new Colorado Law professor on a different topic, including:
· States as Immigration Battlegrounds (Professor Deep Gulasekaram)
· Foreign Policy and Criminal Prosecution (Professor Wadie Said)
· Digital Technologies and Human Rights: Friends, Foes, or Frenemies? (Professor Vivek Krishnamurthy)
· National Security as Police Power (Associate Professor of Law Maryam Jamshidi)
· The Contagiousness of Police Violence (Professor Daria Roithmayr)
Participants will have the option of attending the lectures in person, watching the live televised lectures remotely, or viewing a recording of the lecture on-demand.

Registration is open now. Discounts are available for CU faculty, staff, and students; high school students; and K-12 teachers and administrators. Registrations are accepted on a first-come basis.
