Margot E. Kaminski, associate professor of law at the University of Colorado Law School, received the 10th Annual Privacy Papers for Policymakers (PPM) Award from the Future of Privacy Forum. This award recognizes leading privacy scholarship that is relevant to policymakers in the U.S. Congress, at U.S. federal agencies, and for data protection authorities abroad.

Attorneys, compliance professionals, and entrepreneurs will deepen their knowledge of legal and business topics this summer through the University of Colorado Law School’s new Executive Education courses. This summer's offerings include two courses on ethics and compliance and a course focused on cannabis entrepreneurship.

The Hon. Kathleen Croshal (nee Winters) ('79) describes her path as a law student as "untraditional." Croshal grew up in the suburbs of Cleveland and worked in theater management prior to law school. Her passion for her community is the driving force behind her career and also a motivator of her time spent in nonprofit work, including as current president of the Colorado Bar Association.

The Getches-Wilkinson Center for Natural Resources, Energy, and Environment at the University of Colorado Law School has raised $840,000 to launch a first-of-its-kind fellows program that will train the next generation of natural resource leaders.

University of Colorado Law School Associate Professor Ming Hsu Chen was one of 13 faculty members across the CU Boulder campus selected to participate in the Research & Innovation Office's (RIO) 2020 Faculty Fellows cohort. Professor Helen Norton, who holds the Ira C. Rothgerber Jr. Chair in Constitutional Law, will deliver the 45th annual Austin W. Scott Jr. Lecture on Tuesday, Dec. 3 at 5:30 p.m. in Wittemyer Courtroom. The lecture is presented annually by a member of the faculty engaged in a significant scholarly project selected by the dean.
