Elan is the COO of Flock Safety, the leading public safety operating system. Flock Safety's raised $500M to reduce crime, protect privacy and mitigate bias. As COO, Elan leads the company's Supply Chain, Delivery, Product Operations and Service Operations efforts. Prior to this role, he served as a General Manager at DoorDash, an M&A Associate at Morgan Stanley, and a Marine Officer in Afghanistan.
Elan earned a BS from Cornell University and an MBA from NYU Stern, and he's completed the Marine Corps Command and Staff College and the Emerging COO Program at Stanford GSB. He was recently named a Colorado Governors Fellow by CiviCO and the Office of the Governor. Elan is Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of the Colorado Outward Bound School, and is an active mentor, advisor and volunteer. He lives in Boulder, Colorado with his wife and son.
