My advice to students...

Leadership begins with you. It begins with who you are as a person, what you have learned from lived experiences, and how you inspire others to do the best work of their lives. Whether you are an extrovert or an introvert. Whether you are an empathic or an analytic. Regardless of how you score on any assessment tool...it all begins with who you are, what you know, how you engage with others. There is no single "best" leadership model...there are myriad possibilities. The most respected leaders bring a beginner's mindset. They seek to understand. "In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities; in the expert's mind there are few"...Shunryū Suzuki
