I'm an alumni of the University of Colorado Boulder, where I studied Political Science and Russian Studies. After graduating, I started my career with the state of Colorado, working in an HR Generalist Role. Recently, after five years of working at DaVita Kidney Care, I currently work for Cisco Systems as an Employee Relations Leader. I'm a polyglot; I speak several languages, including Russian and Spanish! I also home-brew beer, and to date, I've made over 1,000 gallons!
My advice to students is...
Get involved! The first thing I did when I got to CU was to join several clubs and activities that matched my passions. Starting early led to so many leadership opportunities, internally and externally, that forever impacted my experience and future career. Don't be afraid to step up! We need diverse voices to grow and lead!
