We are pleased to invite University of Colorado Boulder faculty to apply by July 20, 2020 to participate in the 2020–2021 Course OER Creation/Adaptation Initiative. All faculty, including Instructors and Senior Instructors, who currently have paid appointments through and including the spring 2021 semester are invited to apply as project leads. CU Boulder GPTIs and other faculty may be project team participants.
Selected participants will create an original open educational resource (OER), or adapt an existing OER by updating or localizing it. They will make plans to integrate the new or adapted OER into their own or another educator’s course. Creating or adapting the OER will afford the educator, or other educators, new pedagogical possibilities and may result in course materials costs savings for students.
Projects will be awarded a stipend of up to $8,000. The stipend will be payable in spring 2021 upon successful OER creation or adaptation, and submission by March 1, 2021 of a portfolio that documents and assesses the creation or adaptation experience.
