The University Libraries offer a variety of learning opportunities — workshops, consultations and course sessions for students, faculty, staff and community members. We invite educators to connect with us about integrating these opportunities into their courses.

Request a research seminar for your class or group

Request research sessions, where a librarian will host your class during its regularly scheduled time, to assist with specific student and course needs. These sessions help students investigate research topics, explore the complexities of the research process, examine information and communication systems, interrogate information genres and formats and contribute to scholarly and civic conversations. Submit your request now!

For information about instruction sessions or research seminars with our Rare and Distinctive Collections — Special Collections, Archives, Government Information Library and Map Library — see their instruction webpage. To inquire about a possible instruction session, contact susan.guinn-chipman@colorado.edu.

If you would like to brainstorm and explore how a session will merge with your broader course objectives and student learning goals, contact liblearn@colorado.edu.

Please note: All seminars will be offered virtually for Spring 2021 via Zoom.

Request a Research Guide

Educators may request customized online learning resources. Guides and learning objects help to scaffold research assignments, compile relevant and useful sources and facilitate the integration of library resources into online learning spaces.

Inquiries about research guides may be sent to your subject librarian or liblearn@colorado.edu.

Assignment & Course Consultations

Consult with us to collaboratively design and arrange learning opportunities in support of course and information literacy goals. Together we can work to apply digital and open pedagogies to learning design.

Contact our team of teaching librarians for more information: liblearn@colorado.edu.

Request a Research Consultation

The Research Consultation service is available for individuals who would like to schedule a one-on-one research consultation session to refine and focus research topics, develop successful search strategies and identify appropriate sources for academic research projects and assignments. Encourage your students to schedule a consultation to extend their learning and research. Book a consultation now.

We look forward to assisting you with your students’ and course needs this semester!
