Prof. Andy Cowell discusses 'Colorado Accent' on Channel 9 News

Linguistics Department Professor and Chair, Andrew Cowell, was recently interviewed by Channel 9 News for a segment on the Colorado dialect of English. During the interview, Prof. Cowell mentions historical factors that have contributed to the way Colorado English is spoken, as well as more recent influences from, for example, the California Vowel Shift
