Lasers

This microscope is equipped with two separate, pre-chirped, tunable, pulsed IR lasers. Please click on the links below for further inquiries.

• Spectra Physics Insight X3 (680-1300 nm)

Emission Filters

Large format, 32mm diameter filters are used.

• Olympus: ‘violet’ 410-455nm, 'green' 495-540nm, 'red' 575-645nm) and far red 660-750nm emission
• Chroma: 'cyan' 460-500nm and yellow 520-560nm

Multi-photon optimized objectives include:

• 5x NA0.10; MPLN5X-1-7 air, WD 20 (mm)
• 10x NA0.60; XLUMPLFL10XW-SP water immersion, WD 3.3 (mm); aka 'The Super 10' (this is a special order lens)
• 20x NA0.45; IR LCPlan N with correction collar, WD 8.93 - 8.18 (mm); Air, Glass or Silicone
• 25x NA1.05; FV30-AC25W truResolution water immersion, WD 2.0 (mm) with motorized correction collar (Auto CORR)
• 60x NA1.10; LUMFLN60XW LWD water immersion, WD 1.5 (mm)

• Two non-descanned high-sensitivity GaAsP PMTs
• Two non-descanned increased-sensitivity multi-alkali PMTs

This microscope is housed in an independent, secured room with significant light mitigation and is inside a custom-made dark box. This microscope is excellent for simultaneous multi-color, deep, in situ imaging of excised or live samples, including tissues and whole animals under anesthesia.

• ​Large, motorized platform stage providing space for sample holding and articulation, with pre-drilled mounts
• Single position nosepiece for 10x and 25x, dual position nosepiece for 5x, 20x, and 60x
• TTL for triggered acquisition
