Personnel Updates

ShannieRoshanne Ebrahimian (Shannie), who has been the program assistant since fall 2016, has been promoted to the first ever MASP Program Coordinator. In this new role, Shannie will focus on enhancing program recruitment and developing community relations on and off campus.

 

SandySeoyoon Song (Sandy) joined MASP in March 2019 as the new Administrative Assistant. Sandy is a CU Alum who graduated in 2017 and majored in English with a concentration in creative writing. As Sandy takes on this role, she will be revamping MASP’s social media network and online presence for MASP students, alumni, and community members.

Celeste
Celeste Montoya has received the Western Political Science Association Award for Best Paper in Latino/a Politics for her paper “De Guerreras y Puentes: Legacies of Chicana Feminism”.
 

Kate
Kate Semsar received the Women Who Make A Difference award in December 2018 from the Center for Inclusion and Social Change.

 

Karen
Karen Ramirez received the BFA Award for Excellence in Leadership and Service in 2018.

 

Michele Simpson and Sujeet Bhat, our PEAC instructors, were nominated by students for the Marinus Smith Award.
