Denise Fernandez

Denise is a PhD student in Environmental Studies Program. She specifically focuses on energy transitions of India and China post Paris Agreement on Climate Change and how these transitions shape larger development and environmental governance interactions within the world system. she earned a BA in Political Science, honors in Economics from St Xavier’s College, Mumbai, India and her MA in Sustainable Development Practice from TERI University, New Delhi, India. She has been a Research Assistant at IIT-Bombay, Mumbai, India and a Fellow with AIF Clinton Fellow 2016-2017. Denise has also worked with marginalized communities affected by climate change in Rajasthan, India.
Denise acted as graduate mentor to Cory Wong.
