Sarah Brondum (MechEngr'19) and Spencer Wegner (CompSci'20) co-founded Bevara to help outdoor enthusiasts connect with Colorado’s outdoor nonprofits. Through Bevara’s web platform, users are able to find donation, volunteer, and advocacy opportunities that contribute to land stewardship efforts across the state.

Senior design team solving problems to aid public health

Aspero Medical, a spinout company of CU Boulder’s Paul M. Rady Department of Mechanical Engineering and CU Anschutz Medical Campus was recently awarded $225,000 through the National Science Foundation’s Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program. This award will allow the company to further technologies in the field of gastroenterology.
