OSI is seeking to fill 2-3 summer intern positions at its location in Dacono, CO.
OSI is a growing, vertically integrated machine shop and custom engineering house - if you are smart and motivated, growth and learning opportunities are abundant here.
Job description / typical activities:
- Preferred areas of study: ME / EE / IE.
- No experience required. University years 1 – 4+ accepted.
- Simple tasks: mechanical assembly, parts prep, deburring, shipping & receiving, shop / machine maintenance, inventory management, QC sampling.
- Intermediate tasks: Machine operation, time studies, part print and traveler generation.
- Advanced tasks: CAD / modeling work, shop layout optimization, machine setup & programming, electrical assembly.
- Full or part time. Overtime as needed or agreed upon.
- Flexible hours, including weekends.
- Hourly range $13-$17, DOE.
- Reliable transportation a must.
