Hunter Woodruff is a second-year graduate student in the Renewable and Sustainable Energy specialization. His current focus is on researching and analyzing current and planned energy utility offerings for transportation electrification, residential demand response, and initiatives for historically underserved communities.  Prior to MENV, Hunter received a BS in Environmental Chemistry with a minor in Economics from UC San Diego in 2020. During that time, he spent multiple years working as a researcher in the pharmaceutical industry before pivoting to a nonprofit agency working to develop energy and climate science curriculum at local schools. Outside of his current work, Hunter enjoys golfing, baseball, hiking, music, and hanging out with friends.
