Jennalee Battson is a second-year MENV graduate student in the Environmental and Natural Resources Policy specialization. Her professional experience is in hospitality, brewing, and event planning, and she loves to bring people together. Jennalee has always been ingrained in state and federal politics with extensive experience in campaigning and legislator engagement through lobby and advocacy work with Sierra Club, 350 Colorado, and EcoCycle. She is committed to community building and civic engagement and is passionate about environmental and social justice, mental health, and creative climate communication. Professionally interested in water and resource conservation, she is working on expanding her experience and network to work on state-level policies and interstate agreements aimed at addressing the western water crisis. She enjoys yoga, photography, road trips, and talking politics in her free time.
