Two pianos, plus... three pianists, two cellists, two percussionists and a horn player! This program, Two Pianos +, will feature works for two pianos, played by Alexandra Nguyen, Hsiao-Ling Lin and Jennifer Hayghe, in combination with other instruments. The full ensemble includes Michael Thornton, horn, David Requiro and Meta Weiss, cello, and Michael Tetreault and John Kinzie, percussion. They will perform pieces including Schumann's unusual Andante and Variations, as well as Bartók’s formidable Sonata for Two Pianos and Percussion.
