Brooke Balbuena joined the College of Music in October 2022. In her role as the scheduling coordinator, Balbuena serves on the operations team. She administers the college’s intricate schedule including classrooms, rehearsal spaces, conference rooms, recording and performances spaces. She also manages the college’s dense performance schedule. While working in tandem with colleagues within the operations team and CU Presents, Balbuena directly supports hundreds of public performances each year.
Balbuena earned a bachelor’s degree in music from McGill University and a master’s degree in piano performance and pedagogy from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Balbuena is also a proud veteran of the United States Army where she served on active duty for seven years. Her military service included deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan.
Originally from Wayland, New York, Balbuena now resides in Berthoud, Colorado.
