Kayla Pierce joined the CU Boulder College of Music as the scheduling manager in spring 2025, coming directly from a scheduling position with Arizona State University’s School of Music, Dance and Theatre. In her current role, she assists students, staff and faculty with reserving rooms for meetings, rehearsals and other general needs as well as scheduling faculty, guest and student degree recitals.
Pierce earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in secondary instrumental music education from Northern Arizona University (Go Jacks!). Following college, she served as the orchestra and guitar studies instructor for seven years at Dobson High School in Mesa, Arizona, and also served on the Arizona Music Educators Association board as secretary.
Pierce is an active ensemble violinist who has previously performed with the Chandler Symphony, Scottsdale Philharmonic and Flagstaff Symphony. Now a proud Buffalo at CU Boulder, she resides in the Boulder area with her husband, daughters and two dogs.
