Bio

Hello! My name is Braden Gummin. Colorado has been my home for most of my life and I love it here. I served four years in the United States Marine Corps before completing my bachelor's degree in Sociology. I spend much of my free time reading about cultures both historic and present day, I love a good horror or science fiction movie, and catching the occasional football game (Sko Buffs!).

Favorite Spot Around CU Campus

I love the view of the mountains from the CASE building! On the fourth floor, where the campus tour's start has some great spots to look out on the beautiful backdrop and seeing it change seasonally marks time in a beautiful way for me.

Best Part About Your Job

I consider myself extremely lucky to work with the brilliant student assistants here in Admissions. They work the front desk, they answer calls in the call center, they volunteer their time and experience to new student panels. They are a motivated and caring group of people that really bring the magic to the campus.
