There are two good options available for conference calls: (1) Zoom (where you send out a link to the call in advance); or (2) Using our Cisco VoIP phones (where you add callers to a line).

Below are instructions and links for how to utilize each of these options. If you have questions or would like some help in learning how to set-up or use either, please let Nicole Jenkins know and she will arrange a tutorial for you.

Get Started

All CU Boulder students, faculty, and staff have access to a Pro account by using Zoom's login with Single Sign-on (SSO) functionality. To begin using the tool:

  • Download the Zoom application
  • Click the Sign In with SSO button
  • Enter "cuboulder" and click continue
  • A browser window will open prompting you for your Federated Identity Service identikey and password credentials. Click Continue.
  • This will automatically create your account and log you in.

Please note: Zoom Pro accounts that have not logged in one year will be removed on a routine basis. When logging back in, you will regain access to Zoom Pro functionality automatically.

How to get it

All campus affiliates have access to a Pro Zoom account which is automatically provisioned the first time you login using SSO through the Zoom application. For installation help, use the Zoom - Download and Login tutorial.

  1. While on an active call (not on hold) press the Conference button - the active party is placed on hold.
  2. Call the second party.
  3. When the second party answers, press the Conference button again to join all parties.
  4. Repeat these steps if you wish to add more people to the conference call.
