The Data & Analytics group's mission is to foster an understanding of institutional knowledge. This is done by transforming data into actionable intelligence to aid decision-making processes throughout the university. Some offerings include department- and campus-level surveys, faculty course questionnaires, and data collection, analysis, and visualization.
In order to better support student success and the needs of our campus, Data & Analytics became a division within OIT in January 2024. This new organizational alignment will provide the campus community with a unified point for accessing data and data analytics, ensure greater security and sustainability of campus, accelerate gains with regard to automation, transparency and governance of data, and ensure that Data & Analytics benefits from OIT’s strong foundation in IT operations.
