Family Weekend | Football game tickets

The primary registrant for Family Weekend will receive a one-time promo code to purchase up to four football tickets for the game on Saturday, Oct. 26 against Cincinnati.

  • The promo code will be sent via email on Monday, July 29. The email with your promo code will come from updates@go.cubuffs.com.
  • Visit cubuffs.com/promo to use the promo code.
  • Promo codes will be valid for two weeks. 
  • Ticket prices vary by location and are available first come, first served.

Students with sports passes are required to sit in the student section. If your student will purchase a sports pass and would like to sit with you for the Oct. 26 game, you must purchase them a ticket to sit with you in a reserved seat.

Family Weekend football game frequently asked questions

  How many tickets can I purchase after I sign up for Family Weekend? 

The primary registrant for Family Weekend will receive an email from Athletics Ticketing with a promo code on July 29. The promo code will allow you to purchase up to four football tickets. Tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. There are a limited number of tickets reserved for Family Weekend participants. To ensure you get a great seat, purchase tickets as soon as possible after receiving your promo code.  

  When will I receive my promo code to purchase football tickets for Family Weekend? 

The primary registrant for Family Weekend will receive an email from Athletics Ticketing with a promo code on July 29. 

  We have more than four people attending Family Weekend as part of our group. Will I be able to purchase additional football tickets?  

The standard promo codes will only allow you to purchase up to four football tickets. However, if you purchased more than four Family Weekend football packages, you will receive a promo code that will allow you to purchase up to six tickets instead.

Six is the maximum number of tickets the purchasing site will allow--if you purchased more than six Family Weekend packages, you will still only be able to purchase a maximum of six tickets.

  How much will football tickets for Family Weekend cost? 

Ticket prices will vary depending on the seats you select.  

  My student has a CU Sports Pass—will they be able to sit with us at the football game? 

The CU Sports Pass gives your student access to the student section at the football game. They cannot sit with you unless you purchase a ticket for them separate from their CU Sports Pass.  

  How will I indicate that I want to purchase football tickets when registering for Family Weekend? 

As part of the Family Weekend registration process, you can indicate your interest in purchasing football tickets. The primary Family Weekend registrant will receive an email with a promo code on July 29 to buy football tickets. There is no guarantee that you can purchase football tickets if you register for Family Weekend—tickets within the Family Weekend block can be purchased first-come, first-served. 

  I’m bringing a child with me to Family Weekend—will they need their own football ticket? 

Children age two and under are admitted for free and are not required to have a ticket to enter the football game. They will not have their own reserved seat and will need to sit on the lap of a member of their group. Children age three and older are required to have a ticket.

  Will I be able to reenter the football game if I must leave temporarily? 

There is no reentry to football games this year.  

  What can I bring into the stadium? 

Guests of Folsom Field are required to follow Folsom Field policies. Folsom Field has a clear bag policy (you will receive a clear game-day bag at Family Weekend check-in). Review the complete list of policies, including permitted and prohibited items.  

  I have not purchased any Family Weekend packages. Am I still able to get the promo code for football tickets? 

The promo code is reserved for those who are registered for Family Weekend. If you are currently on the waitlist and space opens for you to register, you can request a promo code at that time if codes are still available. Anyone without a code is still welcome to purchase tickets on their own through the Athletics Ticketing site at any time while tickets last or through re-sale sites.
