Abby Ross

Abby is a first year PhD student in the Mountain Limnology lab in INSTAAR and the EBIO Department at CU Boulder. Before coming to Colorado, Abby got her B.S. in microbiology and then worked as a research specialist analyzing harmful algal bloom toxins in lakes in Upstate New York. Currently, she studies microbial nutrient cycling in mountain lakes in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Abby is interested in making science more accessible to all people and hopes to put a strong emphasis on science communication throughout her graduate career.
