Giaco Corsiglia with a pig
PhD • Designing activities for teaching quantum mechanics and quantum info

Giaco received his physics Ph.D. from CU Boulder in 2023. His research focused on designing online instructional activities for upper-division quantum mechanics courses, which are freely available at https://acephysics.net. Before CU, Giaco received his B.A. in Physics and Mathematics from Amherst College in 2015 and then worked as a software engineer, which solidified his interest in presenting dense and rigid structures to users in ways that match their intuition and enable them to use the tool effectively. Most recently, Giaco has returned to his career as a software engineer, although there may be more physics in his future, too.
