PhD student Dawn Jacob is starting a virtual public philosophy discussion group through POPCO, in conjunction with the Longmont Public Library, beginning on March 22 on Zoom.  Each month the group will tackle a different short reading from various time periods and geographic/cultural areas.  Details are on the Longmont Library website - look for the "Deep Thoughts" reading group.

On Feb 22, there is going to be a once-off lecture and q/a on Stoicism called "The Happy Stoic" to help launch and advertise the reading group.  This group meets the 4th Monday of each month.

Other POPCO presenters will include Brian Talbot, Martin Eyestone, Jonathyn Zapf, Colton Kunzeman, and Paige Massey.

There is also going to be a community reading group through Boulder Library beginning on March 8 on Zoom. The purpose and description is similar. You can find details on the Boulder library website or at the Google site for the program: https://sites.google.com/colorado.edu/classics-phil-reading-group/home
