TAing in Fall 21: PHIL 1200-100: Contemporary Social Problems

I am a graduate student in the philosophy department here at Boulder, specializing in social and political philosophy. I am most interested in questions about our political obligations to members of society that are importantly dependent upon human agents, like children, the disabled, and nonhuman animals. I am also interested in understanding beauty norms and the extent to which they are problematically inegalitarian in liberal society, and in defending tendentious comedy as not only morally permissible but oftentimes morally praiseworthy.
