Gail Linsenbard

Gail Linsenbard received her Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Colorado, Boulder. Prior to joining CU’s Philosophy Department, Dr. Linsenbard taught philosophy at New York University and, most recently, California Polytechnic University. Among her publications are book chapters on William James and Simone de Beauvoir, as well as journal papers on women’s human rights and the philosophy of Jean-Paul Sartre. Her most recent publication, “Ethics as Flourishing Humanity,” was published in the most comprehensive and rigorous volume on Sartre’s philosophy to date.
