Professional background, interests and expertise: Michael has a 20+ year career in consulting, leadership development, and business ownership. He founded Lead Belay to make high-impact leadership development affordable for millennial new managers. Prior to Lead Belay, Michael was co-president of The Regis Company, creating top-tier custom leadership programs for large enterprises (Abbott, Cisco, Deloitte, etc.). Michael is also a former McKinsey & Company consultant and Lehman Brothers Merchant Banking financial analyst. He holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School and a B.A. in philosophy, summa cum laude, from CU Boulder.

Michael loves learning new things from interesting people and is passionate about helping others grow and develop. He is a husband, father of three, a former competitive cyclist, and a Colorado native.
